Shipping and Receiving Associate

Fives North American Combustion, Inc. is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team in Cleveland, OH.

At Fives, we all have a part to play in achieving our common mission. Your role will be to:
- Operate power equipment such as saws and nail guns
- Follow instructions and verify that complete contents of an order are there before packing
- Adherence to a strict schedule to ensure all customer orders are on time
- Use independent judgement to prioritize packaging orders
- Work in a time sensitive, fast paced environment
- Answers all correspondence timely and professionally (ie emails, phone calls, Teams messages)
- Safely operate a tow motor and other electric vehicles
- Work individually, and as part of a team
- Maintains working relationships with various departments, including the Customer Service group
- Use overhead cranes to lift, move, and manipulate larger parts
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Strict adherence to quality standards and ability to ensure they meet customer requirements and company standards
- Responsible for maintaining supply inventory for the shipping department
- Maintains stock and finished parts for the stations in the shipping department.

- Previous experience working in manufacturing or construction is preferred
- Ability to read tape measure
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Fast learner with a willingness to learn new things
- Ability to work autonomously and make independent decisions
- Experience using a tow motor is preferred
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of all products managed by Fives North American Combustion
- Understands the overall work flow and processes within the operations departments
- Must maintain a high level of personal organization
- Ideal candidates should demonstrate flexibility and the ability to multi-task.
- Team leadership experience is preferred
- Has experience with conflict resolution
- Adheres to all quality protocols and reports deviations as required.
- Willing to cross train to other jobs in the shipping dept.
- Highschool/GED
